Earth-199999 (also potential spoilers for No way Home)

Personal History:

Life as a teenage superhero (definite No Way Home Spoilers found here.)

Personality:

Peter Parker is a bright, and enthusiastic teenager that just happens to also masquerade as a vigilante known as Spider-Man. He is extremely friendly and ready to help out anyone in need. He’s known as the ‘Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ for a reason as he’s quite a different brand of superhero than say Iron Man or Thor. He’s the kind of hero that will help people with directions, sit with children when they’re scared and need a friend, he’ll help get cats out of trees and stop bike thefts. Along with all that though he’ll also stop muggings, bank robberies and even more severe matters to help the police out.

Peter is an extremely intelligent boy, he attends a STEM school and has a natural knack from Chemistry and Physics. Even before the Spider-bite, Peter was a very bright kid and due to his inability to do much regarding sports-very likely spent a lot of time reading. He’s also a huge nerd. His typical attire usually includes a shirt with some form of science pun or just nerdy commentary. He’s a big fan of Star Wars and really likes classic movies. He spends much of his spare time building retro computers when he isn’t off patrolling the neighborhood.

In school, despite going to a school based and focused on Science and Technology, Peter is still considered a nerd and isn’t very popular among his peers. One of his classmates-Flash Thompson-even has an embarrassing nickname he refers to him as. Although Peter could put an end to Flash’s remarks easily enough and doesn’t have to be the weak, poor kid anymore, he chooses to conceal his identity. Mostly due to his extreme desire to protect Aunt May and also likely because he doesn’t want that sort of attention on Peter Parker. Besides, Peter is well aware that fighting back now wouldn’t be fair so often he opts to just ignore the jeers and snide comments aimed his way.

Peter grew up in the time of the Avengers and Tony Stark is his childhood hero. Ever since having been recruited by him and taken on as a mentee, Peter has a strong desire to try and impress his mentor whenever he can. Tony treats him like a normal kid which is something that Peter had been afraid he’d lost all hope of after getting bit by a radioactive spider.

In summary, Peter is a very smart kid that’s willing to help out literally anyone. He loves his family and friends, holds himself morally responsible for the death of this uncle and takes his role as Spider-Man very seriously. However, because he is just a teenager and still discovering his powers and their limits, he doesn’t always make the best choices.

Key themes:

The Avengers - Peter grew up in a time where Superheroes were all over the news. In 2008 Eight, Tony Stark became Iron Man and six year old Peter Parker was heavily impressed and inspired by the idea of superheroes. He even attended the Stark Expo in 2010 and had to be saved by Tony Stark himself from a hammer drone when it locked on to the Iron Man mask Peter was wearing at the time.

After being bitten by a radioactive spider, and losing his uncle Ben, Peter became Spider-Man and was recruited about six months later by his childhood hero and then became determined to become an Avenger by impressing Tony.

Family (Uncle Ben and Aunt May) - Peter loves his Aunt May and he loved his Uncle Ben. Aunt May his now his only surviving relative as Peter lost his uncle in a home invasion. He feels morally responsible for what happened because he knows if he just made a different choice (the right choice) then his Uncle would still be around. Now, he fights as Spider-Man to keep what happened to Uncle Ben from happening to anyone else.

Main Motivation:

Stop the bad things from happening. Peter tells Tony when he first meets him face to face that ‘when you can do the things I can, but you don’t. And then the bad things happen… they happened because of you.’ It’s not said verbatim but he is talking about his uncle in that moment. Tony misses this bit and assumes his just wanting to look out for the little guy to which Peter agrees.

Bad things have happened in Peter’s life-his parents, his uncle, he gets picked on at school, and several other things and he wants to be sure that those ‘bad things’ as Peter calls them, don’t happen to anyone else.

Skills: (Pulled Directly from his wiki page because I couldn’t figure out how to link to that specific part of the page:)

Spider Physiology: Spider-Man possesses the proportionate powers of a spider. The bite triggered numerous body-wide mutagenic changes within Parker, granting him superhuman strength, speed, toughened flesh, and numerous arachnid-like abilities. However, due to his inexperience, he doesn't have full control of his powers and is still discovering them, including his spider-sense. His powers are also still developing.

Superhuman Strength: Peter possesses the proportionate strength of a spider, enabling him to lift more than the weight of a car. There is footage of him stopping a car moving at 40 mph before hefting it aloft. He was also able to catch and support a collapsing jet bridge.

Superhuman Speed: Spider-Man can move at greater speeds than that of an ordinary human, making him adept at dodging attacks.

Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Man is able to exert himself much longer than normal humans, without tiring.

Superhuman Agility: Spider-Man is exceptionally agile and fast, capable of swinging around on thin spider-webbing and jumping very high distances without difficulty.

Superhuman Reflexes: Spider-Man's reaction time and coordination is significantly enhanced. He is able to catch objects moving at high speeds even without looking.

Superhuman Durability: Spider-Man possesses denser bones and muscle tissue, that allows him to survive great impacts. He was unaffected when he fell from the height of several stories. Spider-Man has endured punches from super soldiers without sustaining any lasting damage.

Superhuman Senses: Spider-Man's senses are greatly enhanced as he describes them being "dialed up to eleven."

Superhuman Balance: Spider-Man's sense of balance is similar to most arachnid species, allowing him to perform acrobatic feats and gymnastics.

Superhuman Sight: Spider-Man's sense of sight is superhuman, as he was forced to restrict his eyesight with dark goggles to avoid it from handicapping him in a battle

Spider-Sense: Spider-Man has a pronounced survival instinct which warns him of impending danger in no time before the time of danger.

Wall-Crawling: Spider-Man is able to adhere to surfaces like a spider, enabling him to crawl along walls or ceilings with ease. When asked about it by Iron Man, he stated that he doesn't use a mechanical device to achieve this.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Spider-Man's enhanced metabolism allows him a much faster and extensive recuperation rate than normal humans. After his fight with Vulture, the large scars and burns on his body healed up in a matter of hours.

Gifted Intellect: Peter Parker is an exceptionally smart science enthusiast, capable of inventing and constructing his own web-shooters (the sophistication of which impressed Tony Stark) and using the laws of physics to his advantage in a battle as Spider-Man.

Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Spider-Man is a relatively skilled fighter at both close and long distances. However, he does not seem to be skilled in martial arts, and instead fights instinctively. He emphasizes the use of his speed, agility and his spider webs, which he uses as a non-lethal weapon.

Item:

Gonna go with the webshooters

Notes:
Due to the fact that the MCU didn’t really give a full back story on Peter, I have adopted the general comic book origin story almost completely. This means that his CIA agent parents (he doesn’t know they were CIA agents) died in a plane crash and Uncle Ben was killed in a home invasion by a robber that Peter didn’t stop because ‘it wasn’t his job.’ This is what inspired him to become Spider-Man, of course. With great power, comes great responsibility.
