"If it's all the same to you, we'll just refuse visitors until Peter, at the very least is feeling up to talking to them." Pepper explains, knowing that for Peter, that could be some time.

"Yeah, I'll tell the others you're not accepting any visitors then and get Peter moved in here with you two." Bruce concedes. "That way he'll be in here when he wakes up."

"Thanks, Bruce." Pepper offers him a smile as he steps out of the room. Once he's gone though her face goes immediately in her hands.

"Tony, this is going to be rough. His heart's gonna break."
